"Taping of drywall was done improperly causing cracking at joint seams. [Pulte] refused to do anything about it since warranty expired. When we moved in (September 2003) there were seam cracks. Once repaired, many returned."

"Construction defects: “Electric jacks and phone jack in kitchen did not work. There are gaping holes where plumbing pipes come out of walls.” Countertops: “Laminate glue does not hold in this climate and backsplash pulled away from walls.” Interior Paint: “Painters were a disaster to the paint. I disallowed them into the house for repairs. It took four months for Pulte to supply the promised touch up paint.” Construction defects continued: “Electrical and phone outlets not functioning/wired improperly, gaps/chips in laminate flooring, paint and spackle spatter everywhere. Toilets and/or fixtures mounted with gaping holes in the wall. Many more I forgot..."

"Stairs uneven, divot in flooring upstairs, gashes in stucco on exterior in backyard, ‘lemon’ water heater (broke two times within two years of living in house). When I pointed out defects, foreman was not willing to pull up carpet and address issue. Water heater broke and flooded my garage. Took long to get repairman out to house. Second time it broke claimed that it wasn’t under warranty. Air conditioner broke in third year – water leak in upstairs light fixture -- almost electrocuted me and ruined ceiling. No air conditioning for two days in summer. Exterior concrete looks horrible with clumps of concrete on my front sidewalk. Exterior stucco in back of house never fixed. Noticed at inspection of move in and was never corrected. This Pulte home was my first home purchase and it has been nothing but a bad experience for me. I will never purchase a Pulte/Del Webb home."
